Attorney — Advanced usage

Deeper features for power users. Availability depends on your firm’s Module Settings. If something below is missing from your sidebar, ask your firm admin — it may be turned off for your firm.

AI and document intelligence

Document Workflow

Structured drafting with explicit Attorney Review Required steps. Use it to generate drafts from matter context, then decide in AI Review: accept, edit, or reject. Do not treat workflow output as filed or client-ready until you approve.

AI Review queue

Central place for AI-produced work waiting on a human decision. Clear this queue the same way you would clear a filing cabinet of unsigned letters.

Donna, Paralegal

Assistive paralegal-style workflows. Approvals still route through attorney review — Donna does not autonomously file or email clients.

AI Advisor

Board-style advisory assist for attorneys/paralegals/admins when enabled. Still draft guidance, not a substitute for your professional judgment.

Legal Research

When your firm has enabled Legal Research, open it from Insights. Verify citations yourself before relying on them in work product.

Transcription

Transcription under Documents & Evidence when your firm has enabled it. Treat transcripts as working notes until reviewed.

Litigation prep modules

These may appear under Matters when your firm enables them:

Use them as matter-scoped workspaces. They do not replace court e-filing.

Evidence depth

Billing, trust, and accounting

Surface Who Notes
Time & Billing Attorney / billing roles WIP and invoices
Trust Accounting Attorney / admin Client funds; firm controls apply
Accounting Attorney / admin Books views when module on
Financial / Operational Reports Insights Reporting, not disbursement

Trust movements and IOLTA reconciliation are firm-controlled. Do not improvise disbursements outside your firm’s process.

Oliver, Firm COO (when enabled)

Firm-ops radar: Firm Alerts, Owner Radar, Firm Radar Heatmap (and related leaves). Use for operational awareness. Oliver is not legal advice and is not a substitute for matter-level judgment.
