Optional portal features. Your firm chooses what is enabled — if you do not see an item, it may be turned off for your matter.
Ask about your case (AI)
Home may offer an Ask anything… style assistant scoped to your shared documents, uploads, and allowed information. It is not a substitute for your attorney. For legal advice, use Messages.
Approvals with a record
Approvals can include review helpers such as plain-English explanation and a logged approval record (timestamp / proof as shown in the UI). Read carefully before you approve — treat it like signing.
Document requests
When your firm requests specific documents, open Document requests and fulfill each item. This is clearer than guessing what to upload.
Payments and trust
When enabled by your firm:
- Pay invoices online (Stripe-powered checkout where configured).
- Trust top-up / auto-top-up or payment plans if offered.
- View trust balance only if your firm allows it.
Ask your attorney before moving money you do not understand.
Profile depth
Depending on firm settings you may see:
- Password change and active sessions
- Contact and family details your firm uses for the matter
- Safety mode / privacy mode options
- SMS opt-in
- Identity verification steps
- Data export of your portal information
Use safety / privacy options if you are in a sensitive situation — and tell your attorney through a safe channel if you need help.
Language and install
The portal may offer language options and install-as-app (PWA) behavior on supported devices. These do not change who can see your matter.
